Marco Zanuso

Hailing form Italy, designer Marco Zanuso (1916-2001) was one of the leading figures of the Modern Movement. A graduate of the Polytechnic University of Milan, Zanuso won five Compassi d’Oro awards between 1956 and 1985 and is recognised as one of the first Italian designers to observe the

obstacles of product industrialisation, often collaborating with brands that include Arflex, Borletti, Gavina, Bonacina, Kartell and Siemens. His designs can be viewed at New York's MoMA and his lasting legacy can also be found at Polytechnic University of Milan, where he taught for 30 years.
