José Lévy is a conceptor as much as a designer, stylist, inventor, fashion designer, storytelling art director, interior designer, fine artist — he does it all. Starting with a highly successful career in fashion — both at the helm of his own label 'José Lévy Paris' and as artistic director at Emanuel Ungaro from 2004 to 2007 — the French designer is more recently known for his venture into the realm of furniture and decoration. Regularly teaming up with well-known French brands, such as Hermès, Sèvres Manufacture, Roche Bobois and Saint-Louis Crystal, Lévy is led by freedom, romanticism, sensitivity, strength and magic, qualities he is able to apply to everything including
fashion, photography, store concepts, objects and furniture design, interior architecture and decorative arts — all with the same seemingly easy approach. Levy also takes part in numerous artistic collaborations such as the projects he developed with the Art and Design community, such as Nextlevel Galerie, Galerie Perrotin, Carpenters Workshop Gallery and Gallery S. Bensimon. Lévy is a graduate of Villa Kujoyama (Kyoto, Japan), Grand Prix de la Ville de Paris, and Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres.
