Based in Milan, Humboldt is a young publishing house focusing on travel literature, old and new. Drawing inspiration from the scientific explorations of the 18th and 19th centuries, Humboldt’s unusual volumes range from artists’ books to travelogues recounting adventures in Ethiopia, Iceland and Greece. Authors include the architect Mario Bellini, artists Armin Linke and Carsten Höller, and the late photographer Gabriele Basilico.
