Following his study of Industrial Design at PUC-Rio and a period of training with Sergio Rodrigues, Brazilian-born designer Zanini De Zanine began to produce his own solid wood furniture in 2003. Having grown up observing the work of his father, designer José Zanine Caldas, de Zanine soon established his own name as one of Brazil's most recognised contemporary designers and in 2011
launched Studio Zanini. Merging local production, commercial versatility and an exciting range of materials, De Zanine regularly collaborates with national and international brands such as Cappellini, Poltrona Frau and Slamp, and his work has won a number of awards in Brazil and beyond.
