Jean-Marie Massaud

Born in Toulouse, France, in 1966, Jean-Marie Massaud is an architect, inventor and designer with many strings to his metaphorical (though, what we imagine would be exquisitely designed) bow. A 1990 graduate of the Paris Design Institute, Massaud has since embarked upon an extensive range of projects; from architecture to object design, as well as macro-environment and micro-contextual works, he has paired up with some of the biggest names in the industry to create products and builds which strive upon years of combined knowledge and design innovation.

Massaud's body of work shows a tendency toward the concern for individual and collective fulfillment, as well as economic and industrial efficiency and environmental care; meaning that there is often a very humane underpinning to be found in both his speculative and pragmatic creations.
