The summer of 1917 – a time characterised by the sense of freedom - saw photographer Gabriele Basilico tour Morocco. Accompanied by a few friends, he ended up with fifteen rolls of film after travelling ten thousand kilometres. His photographs are complemented by an essay by Michele Smargiassi, and article by Bernard Millet and a text by his travelling companion Giovanna Calvenzi creating a wonderful reportage.
